Karina Scott

Karina Scott is a Canadian artist and BFA student currently studying at the University of Windsor. She explores a range of mediums and subject matter throughout her practice focusing mainly on oil painting, watercolour painting, illustration, and character design. Creating a positive impact is the driving force behind all of her work. Whether that is making people happy with work that is aesthetically enjoyable or trying to further social change by highlighting important issues such as mental health, gender inequality, and the environment. She finds inspiration all around her from music, media, and the work of other artists, to the physical world around her and her life experiences. Scott’s passions for nature, music, food, and fashion as well as her identity as a young Canadian woman can be seen represented throughout her practice.
